Caroline Ribeiro (born Caroline Ribeiro Magalhaes) started modeling after winning the Dakota-Elite Model Contest. Unable to find work in her country of Brazil, she moved to New York where she was finally signed by Marilyn Agency in June of 1999.

In 2001, Caroline became the Revlon girl, for a contract worth a reported 6 million US dollars.
