Elin first appeared in the Swedish men's magazine "Slitz" as a contender for the "Annual Sexiest Girfriend". Although she did not win the contest, she made several more appearances in the magazine afterwards.

In May of 2005, Elin was voted as the sexiest woman in Sweden by the readers of Slitz.
