It was already your childlike face to see the Haute Couture shows on in January.
The fairylike blonde was booked completely unseenly by many designers at the New York Fashion Week.

Gemma a Paris match

THE future of Perth teen modelling sensation Gemma Ward is looking
as bright as the multicoloured clothes she wore down the Paris catwalk
this week.

The 16-year-old with the face of a china doll hit the Parisian catwalk
for the haute couture shows this week, modelling for labels including
Valentino, Givenchy, Julien Macdonald
and Yohji Yamamoto.

The Shenton College student has been in demand with the world's
top design houses since September when she made her
international catwalk debut in Milan after being signed up in an exclusive deal by
Italian fashion house Prada for its show.

It has been a whirlwind fortnight for Gemma, who was
flown to
Sydney for a shoot with Vogue Australia before jetting to
London for editorial shoots with some of Britain's top fashion magazines.
And the pace won't be letting up for the next month,
with the lanky schoolgirl set to clock up frequent-flyer points and
jet to New York, Milan, London and back to Paris to star in the
ready-to-wear parades.
Suzie Deveridge, general manager of Vivien's modelling agency,
said designers had been clamouring for Gemma to be a part of their shows.
"So much has happened in such a short time," she said.
"She's still a very young girl and she is growing into her look and
becoming more and more beautiful every day.
"Her look is quite unique and she's got a composure, sereneness,
focus and intelligence about her that shines through."
The teen, who we hear has a heavy homework schedule to keep her
busy between shows, has been accompanied by her mother Claire and
older sister Sophie on the trip.
