Karen won a British Fashion Award for Best Model, over Lily Donaldson and Danny Beauchamp. She is currently exploring singing and has provided additional vocals for Robert Plant's song "Last Time I Saw Her", which featured guitars by James Iha of Smashing Pumpkins fame. She sang "I love you (Me either)" with Cat Power on a tribute album to French author and singer Serge Gainsbourg.

      She keeps it interesting. I'm never quite sure what I'm going to see when I look at a picture with Elson in it. She's versatile, charismatic, and there's humor there.
