"I chose lingerie because as a model I had more lingerie and swimwear clients and I love lingerie! I was working in Milan for an Italian lingerie company and I just thought of creating my own sexy line. Made in Italy, of course, because of the great quality and bring it back to America and have American price points."

Lucia's modeling career began when she was discovered by Wilhelmina Model Management in New York City. Lucia has been in ads for such brands as: Conair, Corona, Ferrari, Matrix, Mercedes Benz, Perry Ellis, and Sky Vodka. In 1999, she was the recipient of the Modella Award, when a billboard representing her dominated Times Square in Manhattan.

Lucia has a law degree from the University of London and also has her own line of lingerie.
