On winning Dolly's Covergirl Competition in 1997: "In the media at the time they were trying to cling on to anything remotely to do with paedophilia. Dolly is a magazine for teenage girls, not for old men. And I was fully clothed! Doing a winter shoot! They just made something out of nothing."

The Australian-born and multi-ethnic (of Serbian, Turkish, Iranian and Filipino heritage) Miranda began her modeling career when she was 13 years old. Her earliest success came in 1997 from winning the Dolly/Impulse Modeling Competition.

Since then, she has had continued success in her current home of New York. She was also the first Australian model to walk the runway in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Miranda has also appeared in Pharrell William's (featuring Kayne West) music video for the song, "Number One".

She has modeled for the likes of: Bonds, Bloomingdales, Jets Swimwear, Levi's, Lisa Ho, Maybelline, Neiman Marcus, Peter Alexander, Portmans, Veet, Victoria's Secret, and Voodoo Dolls.

      i love the fact she is an aussie! i think she has a beautiful body but a very young/girly/cute face. she doesnt come across as sexy to me if she was poseing to be but she does look absolutely stunning on the runway in a cute victoria's secret outfit. she looks great in bright colours

      Miranda Kerr is my all time favorite supermodel. In fact I never really had a favorite supermodel, so she is my first. I was just watching 2007 Victoria Secret Fashion Show and I was thinking to myself that Miranda was so beautiful in both of her outfit. Then again, I was a little disappointed because I wanted her to go more than twice. So I am hoping next year Miranda Kerr would.
