Born in Los Angeles and raised in Israel, Sharon started modeling when she was 16 years old. Moving to New York, she signed with the agency Clear, of which she was their first female model among their talent of men.

In 2003, Sharon was named Best Model of the Year by Photo Italy Magazine.

She has modeled for such brands as: Givenchy, Ilmakiage, Jean Paul Gaultier, Ray-Ban, Versace, Versus, and Yves Saint Laurent.
